Personal Projects

In my spare time I love to work on my own projects, since I always have a lot of ideas in my head. I designed several lamps, this page shows two examples. I love to work with wood and enjoy recycling materials. This resulted in a couple of interesting designs. For example, I a made a - with voice controllable - lamp out of a old tree and recycled theater lamps.

Furthermore, I designed this bench as a result of the 60 years marriage of my grandparents, to show them how grateful I am to be their grandchild. First I came up with a design and 3D-printed it to show how it will look like in the end. The design of the bench is based up on a poem that I wrote for them.

The up-cycled chair is made out of an old oil barrel that I bought at the thrift shop and the pillows are made of some old jeans that I did not wore anymore. I love the idea of up cycling and encourage people to do the same. My up-cycled chair was shown at an exhibit from the university and promoted the idea of up cycling.
